CWGA Legislative Day at State Capitol

As part of CWGA’s commitment to advocate for all segments of the California sheep industry, what better way than for you, our members, to meet with our State Assemblymen and Senators in Sacramento to discuss the issues facing our sheep industry?
CWGA is currently organizing a Legislative Day at the State Capitol on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Tentative Schedule:
Wednesday, May 23, 2018
7:30 – 8:15 am Welcome Gathering (Location TBD)
8:15 – 8:30 am Walk to Capitol
8:30 – 9:30 am Legislative Briefing at the Capitol (Location TBD)
9:30 – 12:00 pm Representative-Member Office visits (members will visit 2 to 4 offices)
12:00 – 1:30 pm Lunch
1:30 – 3:00 pm Potential State Agency Visits (e.g. CalFire, Department of Fish & Wildlife)
